| Outline | In the Republic of Ghana (hereinafter "Ghana"), the national medium-term development plan aims to achieve high-quality Universal Health Coverage (UHC), yet limited access in rural areas and the maldistribution of physicians between urban and northern regions remain persistent challenges. Furthermore, Ghana faces a "double burden" of disease, with infectious diseases alongside rapidly increasing Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs), leading the government to work on strengthening the health system by introducing telemedicine. |
